Getting Started
Quick Start Guide
Get from sign-up to your first AI-assisted action in about five minutes. This guide walks you through the essentials.
Step 1: Create Your Account
1.Download Doughy from the App Store or visit doughy.app
2.Tap Sign Up and enter your email
3.Create a password and verify your email
4.Choose your primary role: Investor or Landlord (you can enable both later)
Step 2: Set Your Criteria
Your AI team needs to know what you're looking for. Head to Command > Criteria & Strategies and configure:
•Target markets — the cities or zip codes you invest in
•Property types — single-family, multifamily, commercial, etc.
•Strategies — fix-and-flip, wholesale, rental hold, BRRRR, or value-add
•Budget ranges — min and max purchase price, target ROI
Your agents use these criteria to filter leads, score deals, and prioritize their work.
Step 3: Connect Your Services
Go to Settings > Integrations and link the accounts you already use:
•Google Calendar — syncs showings, inspections, and deadlines
•Email — lets agents send follow-ups and campaigns on your behalf (with approval)
•QuickBooks — connects your bookkeeping agent to your accounting data
Each connection is optional. You can add more later as you need them.
Step 4: Review Your First AI Draft
Once your criteria are set, your agents will start working. Check the Queue tab to see what they've prepared:
•A follow-up email to a new lead
•A market research summary for your target area
•A social media post about a recent listing
Each item shows who created it, what it does, and a clear Approve or Edit button.
Step 5: Approve Through Bouncer
Tap any queued item to review it. You can:
•Approve — the agent sends or executes it immediately
•Edit — make changes, then approve
•Reject — discard it and optionally tell the agent why
That's it. Your AI team is now working for you. As you approve more actions, your agents learn your preferences and get better over time.
