Documents & Workflows
Keep all your real estate documents organized and create reusable workflows for your deal process.
Document Management
Uploading Documents
Upload files from anywhere in the app:
•Property documents — from the property detail screen
•Contact documents — from a contact's profile
•General documents — from the Documents screen
•Supported formats — PDF, Word, Excel, images, and text files
Organization
Documents are automatically organized by:
•Property — files attached to a specific address
•Contact — files linked to a person
•Type — contracts, inspections, financial, legal, photos
•Date — upload date and document date
Viewing and Sharing
•Preview — view documents directly in the app without downloading
•Share — send a document to a contact via email (held for your approval first)
•Download — save to your device
•Print — send to a connected printer
AI Document Analysis
Upload a document and ask your AI team to review it:
•"Summarize this inspection report"
•"What are the key terms in this lease agreement?"
•"Flag any concerns in this purchase contract"
The agent's analysis is delivered for your review. It highlights important sections, potential issues, and key dates.
Workflow Templates
Workflows are reusable checklists for recurring processes.
Built-in Workflows
Doughy includes templates for common processes:
•Property Acquisition — from lead to closing
•Tenant Onboarding — from application to move-in
•Tenant Turnover — from notice to re-leasing
•Renovation Project — from planning to completion
•Property Sale — from listing to closing
Creating Custom Workflows
1.Open Documents > Workflows
2.Tap New Workflow
3.Name your workflow and add a description
4.Add steps — each step has a name, description, and optional assignee
5.Set dependencies — which steps must complete before others start
6.Save the template
Using Workflows
When you start a workflow for a specific property or deal:
1.Select the template
2.Link it to a property or contact
3.The checklist populates with all steps
4.Check off steps as they're completed
Coming soon: automatic step advancement. Today, workflows are checklists you drive — your agents don't tick steps off on their own yet. When auto-advancement arrives, steps like "Tenant Application Received" will mark themselves the moment it happens.
Workflow Tracking
Track progress across all active workflows:
•Overview — see all running workflows with completion percentages
•Overdue items — steps that have passed their target date
•Bottlenecks — steps that are blocking downstream progress
•History — completed workflows for reference
