Contacts

The People tab is your central directory for everyone you do business with — sellers, buyers, tenants, vendors, contractors, and partners.

Adding Contacts

Manual Entry

Tap the + button on the People screen to add a contact:

Name, phone, email (minimum one contact method required)
Tags — free-form labels like "seller", "buyer", "contractor", "VIP"
Notes — any relevant context
Associated property — link to an address in your portfolio

CSV Import

For bulk additions:

1.Tap Import in the People tab
2.Select your CSV file
3.Map columns to Doughy fields (name, phone, email, address, tags)
4.Review the preview
5.Confirm the import

The system detects duplicates by phone number and email and prompts you to merge or skip.

From Other Sources

Contacts also get added automatically when:

Someone calls or texts your Doughy number
You receive an inbound lead from a campaign
An agent creates a contact during research

Searching and Filtering

The search bar at the top of the People screen supports:

Name search — type any part of a name
Tag filters — tap tags to filter by category
Temperature — filter by lead temperature (hot, warm, cold)
Deal stage — filter by where the contact is in your pipeline
Recent activity — sort by last interaction date

Temperature Badges

Every contact has a temperature that reflects their current engagement level:

Hot — actively engaged, recent communication, high deal probability
Warm — some engagement, needs follow-up
Cold — no recent activity, may need reactivation campaign

Temperature updates automatically based on communication activity, or you can set it manually.

Quick Actions

From any contact card, you can:

Call — tap to dial directly
Text — opens a conversation thread
Email — compose a message
View deals — see associated properties and deal stages
Add to campaign — include in a drip sequence
Assign to agent — route to a specific AI agent for follow-up

Deal Tracking

Each contact can be linked to one or more deals. From the contact detail screen:

See the current stage of each deal
View communication history related to the deal
Track notes and action items
Monitor the AI agent's activity for this contact
